The Women’s Housing Alliance is excited to be staging the inaugural Women’s Housing Forum 2022 – A Gendered Lens on Housing Security – to be held at the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre on Thursday August 11, while also offering a virtual option for those unable to attend in-person.
Australia is facing a chronic housing shortage, and its impact is gendered. On any given night in Victoria, there are more than 9,800 women experiencing homelessness. Join us on August 11 for the #WomensHousingConf2022 to engage with lived experience advocates and thought leaders on housing solutions that are gender-responsive.
The Women’s Housing Alliance invites you to join us, in-person or online, to engage with and learn from women with lived experience of homelessness, policy makers, researchers and practitioners on the challenges and, most importantly, solutions to Victoria’s chronic housing crisis for women and children.
This is also a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and network with new faces after more than two remarkably difficult pandemic years.
