Kira* had already made the decision to leave her ex partner — not once, but seven times. Each time, she showed enormous courage. And each time, she was forced to return because there was nowhere safe to go.
When she was connected with Juno, we arranged emergency accommodation and then helped Kira secure a safe place for her and her children to live. Once they moved in, we helped furnish it so they could feel comfortable and settled in their new home. For the first time in years, Kira and her family could close the door and feel safe.
