At Juno, our strength lies in the people who show up every day to walk alongside women, non-binary people and children as they move from crisis to safety, stability and independence. We’re excited to share some staff changes that reflect the growth and leadership within our team.
While our current Program Manager, Shannon, takes parental leave, Zoe (they/them) will step into the role of Program Manager. Zoe brings to this role much experience as a Senior Practitioner, with a strong background in both direct support, supervision and program coordination. Zoe has lived experience of family violence and is committed to ensuring that the people we work with remain at the centre of everything we do. Their leadership and deep understanding of family violence and housing systems will ensure continuity and impact across our programs during this time.
Tess (she/her) will move from her role as Senior Practitioner into the role of Strategic Projects Manager. Tess has worked in the community sector for over six years in various roles across disability, housing/homelessness, and family violence. Tess has lived experience of family violence and homelessness and is a fierce advocate for increasing access to support and empowering victim survivors in policy, service planning, and practice. In this new role, Tess will be leading key strategic initiatives across the organisation—helping embed Juno’s values into systems, practice and impact.
We’re also pleased to share that Jessie (she/her) will move into the role of Senior Practitioner – Family Violence. Jessie has been a vital part of the team as a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, supporting women, non-binary people and children. In her new role, she’ll provide additional leadership and mentoring within the team, helping us strengthen and grow our family violence practice. Rosie (she/her) will be stepping into Senior Practitioner – Housing for the next few months, bringing strong housing expertise and leadership to the team before she heads off on parental leave.
These appointments reflect Juno’s commitment to developing our people, supporting internal progression, and continuing to deliver high-quality, person-centered support. Please join us in congratulating Tess, Zoe, Jessie and Rosie on their new roles, and wishing Shannon all the best for this exciting new chapter.
