Juno is seeking dedicated and visionary Board Members to help us elevate our impact and continue providing life-changing services to women, non-binary individuals, and children experiencing homelessness, family violence, and trauma.
We are seeking candidates with relevant experience in the homelessness and family violence sector, or other not-for-profit sectors. Our priority need is for individuals with skills and expertise in risk, governance and compliance and/or marketing and communications, or broader community services expertise.
We are also interested to hear from anyone who has other skills or experience that may be relevant to Juno’s work as will be considering additional board members later in the year.
About you
Selection criteria for roles includes:
- Extensive understanding of governance, risk management and compliance; and/or marketing and communications; and/or broader community services experience
- Experience working or demonstrated high level understanding of the not-for-profit sector and relevant legislation/statutory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Willingness to commit time the Board and the organisation
- Alignment with Juno’s vision and values
- Current working knowledge of the Victorian violence against women or homelessness sectors and/or not-for-profit sector is preferable.
