At Juno, you will be a part of a passionate and dedicated team who are guided by a shared commitment to supporting and empowering women, trans and gender diverse people, and their children experiencing homelessness and family violence.
As a proudly intersectional feminist organisation, we are guided by our vision a community where all women and gender diverse people and their children are safe, empowered and thrive and we live by our Juno values; feminism and intersectionality, collaboration and creativity, equity and justice and courage and accountability.
We work with a diverse range of women (trans and cis) and gender diverse people experiencing homelessness and family violence, and we are committed to ensuring that our team is reflective of the community we serve. We encourage applications from women and gender diverse people who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, have disabilities or are LGBTQIASB+, of all ages.
All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory referee checks, a current employment working with Children Check and National Criminal History check (and an international police check if 12 months or more have been spent living in an overseas country in the past 10 years).
Please note a reported result on a police check will not necessarily prevent you being successful and results can be discussed with Juno. We invite people who have relevant experience to apply for this role and to have a confidential discussion about the circumstances of any conviction which might be considered a barrier to your employment with the recruitment lead at Juno.

Student Placements
As a small organisation, Juno is usually able to accept up to two students per year through our existing partnerships with La Trobe University (Bachelor of Social Work) and RMIT (Certificate/Diploma of Community Services). Students from other institutions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, please email if you are interested.
We prioritise placements that are mutually beneficial, where students can gain valuable learning opportunities while contributing to Juno’s work. For this reason, placements are offered only when there is a defined project and adequate staff capacity to provide high-quality supervision and ensure positive and meaningful learning experience.
