Powering Future Choices: Community Workshops
Are you wanting to better plan for your future?
Juno is running a series of community workshops for women and non-binary people to explore resources and choices that are important for future life. They will provide you with practical information on options, planning ahead and supports available to reduce the risk of housing and financial stress, including the impacts of changing relationships later in life and your rights.
Workshops are facilitated by trained Peer Educators, women who have been there and can help you build your skills, knowledge and connections.
Workshops are available on the following topics:
- Housing: This workshop will explore housing stress, homelessness and creating a housing plan.
- Money: This workshop will look at the gender pay gap, superannuation, entitlements, financial counselling, and creating a financial plan.
- Relationships: This workshop will explore relationship changes and breakdowns, unsafe relationships, your rights and resources and information.
- Health and Wellbeing: This workshop will look at women’s health and wellbeing, navigating change and making a plan to prioritise your health and practice self-care.
