About the role
Working with a team of committed professionals you will be responsible for providing family violence case management to women, non-binary people, and accompanying children, who are experiencing family violence and its related impacts, including housing instability. You will provide a weekly outpost to the local housing access point and support the initial assessment housing team to recognise and respond to family violence, as well as providing specialist FV secondary consult to the Juno housing team.

- Weekly outpost at Haven, Home Safe, Launch, VincentCare (rotating)
- SCHADS Level 5 position (pay point dependent on experience and qualifications)
- Base Rate $93,858.96 EFT + Super + NFP Salary Packaging
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a framework that is feminist, intersectional, and trauma informed.
- Experience working with people experiencing family violence.
- Communication and advocacy skills, including the capacity to advise and consult effectively with victim-survivors, service providers and other professionals.
- Demonstrated practice in working collaboratively.
- Have assessment and case planning skills, be flexible and open to new and creative ways of achieving outcomes.
- Be able to prioritise and manage competing tasks to support clients with co-existing needs to work toward their goals.
- A minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work, recent employment in the family violence sector or equivalency met through the 7 Equivalency Principles in line with Recommendation 209’s minimum mandatory qualification requirements, or commitment to gaining qualification with Juno’s support.
