Merri-bek Social Connect Group
In partnership with Merri-bek Council, Juno is facilitating trauma-informed meetups for women (both trans and cis) and gender diverse people in the Merri-bek area who have experienced homelessness, family violence and poverty.
The regular community connect group provides opportunities for attendees with similar experiences to forge positive social connections, combat isolation, and connect to services and community support.
There will be healing group work within the domains of art therapy, sound and movement, led by a proud peer with living/lived experience of homelessness and family violence. The meetups will also include information sessions from community organisations like NEAMI, Dorcitch Legal and Northern Community Legal Centre.
